Production Controller
We are seeking a Production Controller with a high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-paced, multi-faceted work environment to join our Operation Team.
Responsibilities
- Follow-up with production unit (PUs) for production planning, day to day production and ensure on-time delivery to meet the customer demands smoothly
- Review overseas bonded warehouse stock on weekly basis and re-order stocks as per sales forecast given for Bangladesh customer
- Ensure sufficient stocks level maintained at local PU and overseas bonded warehouse as per sales forecast for Bangladesh customers for reuse program and virgin program where moulds / capacity is not available locally
- Review inventory level at Licensee on weekly basis and ensure sufficient inventory as per live orders
- Day to day managing virgin approval process against re-use program in coordination with Customer Service, overseas colleagues and Global Planning Manager
- Tracking all replacement issues (licensee or from against SLBW delivery) in coordination with QMS and CS team and coordinate with production unit (PUs) / oversees colleagues for on-time replacement
- Assist QMS team by inspecting customer claims against overseas delivery, prepare inspection report and submit to Global QMS team for decision
- Handling quality compliance with designated team
- Working in close coordination with CS team in processing customer orders and shipments as per established schedule
- Manage inter-company export orders from Bangladesh through local production unit (PUs)
- Ensuring customer satisfaction both internal and external by the way of proper reporting, effective communication etc.
Job location
Mainly at Dhaka office, factory and customer visit may require occasionally.
Reporting and communication:
Will be reporting to Operation Manager in Bangladesh at same time global communication with relevant teams in overseas hub will be required. Extracting data d generating various reports for management team. Communicate production planning updates to Managers and CS team on regular basis.
Requirements
- Age preferable 30-40 years
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree, Business Graduates (preferably with an MBA)
- 3-4 years of experience preferably in Supply Chain or logistics or Inventory Mgt
- Ability to work effectively, independently in a team environment
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadline
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Good command of spoken/written English and Bangla
- Immediately available is highly preferred
