Deputy Manager, Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

  • To prepare financial statements and donor reports
  • To prepare the considered financial statements
  • To coordinate the entries in the accounting software *ERP*
  • To prepare forecast and budget for new projects, and present budget variance report to the program managements
  • To extend support to the external and internal auditors
  • To do day to day correspondence with the field office accountants, to disseminate information and  resolve the financial issues

Person Specifications:

  • Must be outgoing, confident, persuasive communicator who has ability to communicate effectively both verbally and has excellent skill in writing to communicate with the management and other stake holders.
  • Fluent in English speaking and good in report writing, must have good knowledge about NGO and financial environment and possess excellent communication skill
  • Ability  to work under stressful conditions to undertake multitasking responsibilities
  • Must have excellent time management and problem solving skills, should be sound in financial decision making, MIS and cost analysis
  • Must have advanced IT skills, especially in EXCEL and should be competent user of financial database and software
  • Must have Proven track record of maintaining confidentially of sensitive information

Educational Requirements:

  • CA Intermediate/CMA/ACCA from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3+ years, at least 2 years of experience to work under any leading NGO
