Head of Human Resources

BRAC EPL Stock Brokerage Limited, a subsidiary of BRAC Bank Limited; is one of the largest stock brokerage in Bangladesh with strong foothold in domestic institutions, retail clients and foreign institutional investment segment.

We are looking for confident, career focused and highly energetic Head of Human Resources to serve the internal stake holders and management.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement the core HR practices under company policy to ensure professional HR services
  • To identify, design and implement general HR strategies and solutions to achieve agreed outcomes
  • Prepare HR budget according to the organization demand; produce a monthly and quarterly review of meaningful People statistics and analysis for distribution to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure the Talent Acquisition process as per company policy and organizational needs
  • Maintain effective HRIS (Human Resource Information System) to keep confidential employee & Management Information
  • Monitor company payroll to ensure salary, wages and attendance system properly through Software
  • Follow up daily HR activities as organization demand as per the company policy with strong supervision
  • Ensure the implementation of standard performance appraisal system
  • Initiate for the learning & development activities to develop skill & competency to subordinates and other employees of the organization
  • Ensure the execution of talent Management and Employee relation activities to build up real healthy work environment
  • Develop effective, collaborative relationships and networking with all internal customers and external stakeholders; build a strong employee feedback mechanism and take concrete actions to improve
  • Deliver a high level of proactive support, management and advice to managers and staff in employee relations, encompassing, equal employment opportunity/diversity case management
  • Provide high level, timely and professional advice to senior managers and staff, in interpreting and implementing human resource policy
  • Handle the grievance and disciplinary issues smoothly and ensure proper discipline in the organization

Job Requirements

  • The applicants having experience in SECURITIES/CAPITAL MARKET will get an edge
  • Experience required: 12 to 20 years’ of relevant track experience
  • Educational Requirement: Master’s degree in Business Administration specializing in HRM or equivalent from any reputed Institute with PGDHRM/PGDPM (BIM/UIU-BSHRM are preferred)
  • Professional Degree (e.g. PHR/SPHR/SPHRi) holders/candidates are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must be enthusiast toward the capital market
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and writing) to deal with stake holders
  • Well versed in MS Office suits, Internet and email correspondence
  • Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
  • Professional knowledge and skill levels are kept up-to-date in order to meet the needs of the position
