Zonal Manager, Nursery (BRAC Nursery)
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise activities to achieve monthly sales target as per planned / budgeted yearly sales projection of nurseries.
- Prepare production plan and control the execution by the individual nurseries
- Organize “Variety” wise production to ensure optimum utilization of land and resources of the nurseries
- Monitor nursery inventory so that it contains proper variety and quantity according to market demand as well as free from overstock
- Take measures to control the production cost of the nurseries, ensure optimum utilization of overhead cost so that each individual nursery operates as profit Centre
- Provide necessary technical instructions as and when required and ensure that nurseries are arranged as per layout plan and operating as per the instructions of management
- Work out requirement of mother plants, purchases of saplings and other logistic support and liaison with management & vendors for timely arrangement of those
- Timely visit to each nursery, hold meeting with all the nursery staffs, check documentation & audit & other reports so as to ensure that nurseries are operating as per business objectives
- Pursuit relationship with external stakeholders scoping sales in the respective zone, organize fair & other promotional activities to achieve sales growth.
- Responsible for profitability of the particular business zone and submit staff performance appraisal on time to management.
- Any responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Requirements:
- The candidates must have BBA/ MBA in any discipline or BSc in Agriculture with minimum 2nd class/ division or equivalent result in all academic examinations.
Experience Requirements: At least 5 years’ experience.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to be an effective and credible voice internally and externally when presenting findings
- Solution driven, smart, approachable and possesses ability to work with people from different backgrounds
- Must have to skill of multitasking
- Must have to work under pressure
