Officer, Production (BRAC Fisheries Enterprise)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Hatchery Manager in preparing the annual production plan and budget
  • Prepare action plan to produce fish spawn/fry and other products as per annual production plan
  • Ensure that the preparatory works like pond preparation, brood stocking and rearing, hatchery disinfection, material acquisition etc are accomplished timely and appropriately
  • Ensure that the breeding, feeding and other production processes are executed as per Standard Operating Procedure to maintain the desired quality and efficiency
  • Maintain and update all production registers and other documents as per official requirements
  • Assist Hatchery Manager with preparion of official reports and other adminstritative functions
  • Perform any other duties promtly as and when assigned by the respective authority.

Educational Requirements: The candidate should have BSc/MSc in Fisheries with minimum CGPA 2.5/ 2nd division or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any reputed university.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Must have Sound knowledge in fish hatchery operation and food fish production
  • Must be skilled in computer application, particularly in MS word, Excel, Power point and Internet browsing
  • Must be able to work under pressure and have commercial awreness

Age: Maximum 33 years
