Hatchery Manager/Senior Hatchery Manager (BRAC Fisheries Enterprise)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual production plan and budget for hatchery operation
  • Achieve production targets and the key financial objectives as per annual business plan and budget
  • Delegate production activity to the respective persons and ensure their job accomplishment through regular monitoring and follow up
  • Coordinate with sales team for smooth sale of the produced products and strive for continuous improvement of product quality and customer service
  • Ensure the compliance of organizational and government regulatory requirements in all aspects of hatchery operation
  • Maintain necessary documentation, prepare necessary reports and keep effective communication with the respective management
  • Keep effective liaison with all internal and external stakeholders for smooth operation of the hatchery.

Educational Requirements: The candidate should have BSc/MSc Fisheries with minimum CGPA 2.5/ 2nd division or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any reputed university.

Experience Requirements: Minimum 3 years

Additional Job Requirements:

  • He/She must have sound knowledge on fish hatchery management
  • Must Have computer knowledge on MS word, Excel, Power point and Internet browsing
  • Must have skills of People Management and Conflict Management
  • Must be able to work under pressure and have Customer Awareness

Age: Maximum 38 years
