The Treasury and Financial Institutions division of BRAC Bank Ltd. has an experienced team of dealers and relationship managers, well suited to deliver the wide-range of products and services it possesses in its repertoire. Alongside managing the bank’s funds, meeting regulatory requirements, managing day-to-day liquidity, the Treasury Team is working in developing the financial market by acting as market maker. The team is catering to a diverse group of customers by operating across the Money Market, Fixed Income market, Inter-bank Foreign Currency market and has ventured into the Corporate FX Sales arena as well. BRAC Bank Treasury and FI team is one of the top teams in the market in terms of performance and coverage.

To support its continuous business growth, BRAC Bank is currently looking for ambitious, smart, goal-oriented, enthusiastic individuals for the following position in Treasury & FI Division:

Dealer, Treasury Dealing Room

Employment Type: Full Time Employment
Grade: OG II to Principal Officer
Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka


  • Running Treasury Balance Sheet within all internal and regulatory limits
  • Managing liquidity using all Money Market & FX products (call, term, repo, reverse repo, Swap, fixed income securities etc.)
  • Regular monitoring of major macroeconomic factors, understand their impact on interest rate and liquidity situation, accordingly formulate strategies to spot any arbitrage opportunities
  • Operating within all given balance sheet gap
  • Pricing and trading USD/BDT spot and forward products for inter-bank and corporate clients.
  • Identifying FX spot/forward arbitrage opportunities
  • Proprietary trading of G7 currency pairs using fundamental and technical analysis maintaining the proper risk to reward ratio
  • Offering customers alternative FX solutions for FX buying & selling
  • Offering hedging solutions to clients including interest rate and commodity hedging
  • Discovering segment wise new clients
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Building strong relationship with counter parties
  • Maximizing profit opportunities
  • Ensuring audit compliance
  • Preparing supporting MIS for all desks


  • Fresh Graduates with Masters / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from reputed universities with satisfactory academic track record
  • Candidates with 2-4 years of experience in relevant area is appreciated
  • Any professional degree will be an added advantage
  • Good conceptual skill in understanding market dynamics
  • Strong communication & inter-personal skills
  • Good knowledge on economic events
  • Ability to handle stress situation 
  • Good computer skills in office applications
