Specialist, Fund Management (Jibika VDOs), Integrated Development Programme (Contractual)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Ensure sound and effective implementation of VDO fund
  • Guide staff and partner on Village Development Organisation (VDO) fund management (loan disbursement, recovery system, savings and interest distribution), technical supports to Microfinance management 
  • Follow up upazila field staffs accountability and transparency through regular area visit with consultation of upazila managers according to action plan 
  • Regularly monitor fund management of VDOs and present report in respective upazila monthly meeting 
  • Assist upazila managers in taking necessary initiatives to improve the financial management capabilities of relevant staff 
  • Prepare all types of financial reports of VDOs collecting from financial data of real time monitoring (RTM) and other MIS 
  • Provide technical support to programme organizer (PO) and field facilitator (FF) 
  • Building relationship with government cooperative department for VDO audits and other financial compliances 
  • Coordinate with upazila managers (UM), sector specialists and BRAC mainstreaming microfinance programme 
  • Support financial management and business planning with Jibika large enterprises and build linkage with BRAC progoti microfinance programme

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA/ MSS in relevant discipline from any recognised university with
    minimum 2nd class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA. No third class/
    division or below CGPA 2.00 is acceptable.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years working experience in relevant discipline

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Computer Proficiency especially in MS Excel, Fluency in Bangla and English speaking, writing and understanding

Age Range: Maximum 40 years
