Deputy Manager, Compliance; Finance and Accounts

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual return of BRAC and BRAC investment undertakings
  • Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records in respect to annual return filed before the register of Joint stock companies and firms
  • Plan and deal with the register of joint stock companies and firms in relation to various issues
  • Liaison and maintain all related correspondences with respective regulatory authorities to obtain maximum benefits
  • Prepare notice and agenda relating to AGM/ EGM and Board Meeting
  • Prepare minutes books and statutory registers relating to AGM/ EGM and board meetings
  • Consult with corporate consultants as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issues
  • Monitor compliance systems to ensure effectiveness
  • Implement compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organisation

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA major in Finance/ Accounting from any recognised university with minimum 2nd class/ division in all academic examination

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience is required

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Have knowledge on enterprise accounts, accounting principles and their implications and Tax
  • Strong communication skills, both at the executive and operations level
  • Self-motivated and a problem solving ability
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written language
  • Willing to travel when necessary

Age Range: Maximum 32 years
