Senior Sector Specialist, Monitoring & Evaluation (Contractual); Communicable Diseases Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare project work plan and detail budget independently
  • Develop the overall framework/ reporting format of the monitoring and evaluation activities
  • Prepare consolidated progress reports for the management including identification of problems, causes of potential bottlenecks in implementation, and provide specific recommendations independently
  • Prepare different project reports (e.g. dashboard preparation, progress update and disbursement request) for donor’s in regular basis
  • Carry out regular field visit to support implementation of monitoring and evaluation, check the quality of data produced
  • Generate different programmatic reports and data compilation
  • Assist in preparing concept note, agreement/ sub-agreement and other grant management issues

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA/ Masters in MIS/ Statistics/ Bio-Statistics/ Economics/ Business Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university/ institutions with minimum second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years work experience in relevant field.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge on data collection and data analysis, data management & MIS management
  • Knowledge on advanced statistical software e.g. Excel, STATA, SPSS and real time analysis software
  • Have knowledge on programme monitoring and evaluation
  • Have skills on effective communication and report writing
  • Experienced in managing information systems projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English

Age Range: Maximum 35 years
