Project Manager, Communication for Development, C4D; HCMP (Contractual)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Ensure field operation of Community Mobilization Volunteers (CMVs) Network Project through effective collaboration with Lead, HCMP and UNICEF
  • Develop project implementation strategy to ensure quality standards of project delivery on time
  • Prepare project implantation plan and coordinate with field staff with regular field visit to ensure smooth implementation of activities as per operation plan
  • Ensure field visits for project monitoring and knowledge management
  • Ensure timely report preparation and submission to BRAC and Donor management as per project need
  • Ensure effective communication and maintain liaison with UNICEF focal and BRAC management for CMVn
  • Ensure monthly project team meeting at Upazila, District and take steps for staff capacity development
  • Prepare variety of written communications (correspondence, reports, working papers, etc.)
  • Attend project related different forums, meetings, seminars at Upazila, districts level
  • Any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in any subject from any government recognized University/ Institute with minimum 2nd division or equivalent CGPA.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of similar experience in development programme including minimum 3 years of managerial experience in communication and programme implementation.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge on C4D, Humanitarian programmes, Advocacy and Communication
  • LFA and project implementation
  • Have good understanding on IPC & Micro planning; Advocacy and Social Communication
  • Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management
  • Good understanding about team management & leadership
  • Good coordination and collaboration skill
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, internet is required
  • Team player and community mobilization skills
  • Effective communication, report writing and presentation skill
  • Problem solving, conflict resolution and leadership
  Salary and benefits
