  Position  

Sector Specialist, Data Analysis & Documentation, C4D; HCMP (Contractual)

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compilation of monthly work plan of CMVn based on SMART principal
  • Develop monitoring framework and conduct mapping, assessment and other relevant activities
  • Implement realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data
  • Produce quantitative and narrative reports for BRAC, UNICEF and CwC WG as required,
  • Design, manage and analyze information management system in accordance with BRAC guidance and UNICEF requirement to facilitate humanitarian information exchange
  • Implement High quality, evidence-based assessment and feedback mechanism for UNICEF, Communications with Community (CWC) and BRAC management reports
  • Ensure documentation of high-value humanitarian data for accuracy, consistency and comparability
  • Collect information through focus group discussions, participatory assessments, key informant interviews
  • Coordinate with field monitoring officers to collect necessary data and information ensuring quality within deadline
  • Analyze location specific datasets using appropriate methodologies and tools
  • Provide training and assistance to develop staff skills in participatory and qualitative design, monitoring approaches
  • Produce quality narrative reports using field data
  • Collect best practices, humanitarian stories and relevant stories from field, analyze and produce quality documents
  • Archive documents and evidences in electronic and where necessary printed medium
  • Support Team Lead, Project Manager and Grant Manager providing progress indication with related data analysis and support strategy design and development of C4D activities
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in any subject from any government recognized University/ Institute with minimum 2nd division or equivalent CGPA.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of working experience in relevant sectors is required.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Conceptual clarity of C4D, Research, M&E, Advocacy and Communication
  • Good Knowledge in Computer software
  • Effective communication and report writing (qualitative and quantitative) skill
  • Good negotiation and analytical skill
  • Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of qualitative and quantitative monitoring and management
  Salary and benefits  

Salary Range: Negotiable
