Programme Coordinator, Gender Justice and Diversity Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and quality implementation of activities of Gender Justice And Diversity Program, monitor budget utilization/ implementation in line with the project log-frame, prepare for required budget analysis 
  • Provide support to gender mainstreaming issues and the protection of the most vulnerable among women and girls in relation BRAC Gender Goal 
  • Provide support to other gender related interventions, including project development. 
  • Monitor current projects and coordinates all team members involved to keep workflow on track 
  • Flexible and able to multitask on several different aspects of a project or on multiple projects 
  • Supporting gender mainstreaming processes including implementation of Gender Equality Strategy 
  • Supporting the development of other interventions 
  • Ensure facilitation of knowledge building and sharing through synthesis of lessons learnt and best practices under the project supported; sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice 
  • Keeps management update by preparing project updates and presentations that showcase a project's value and status 
  • Lead the reporting process and knowledge products related with gender goal organizing learning opportunities, and designing M&E tools and frameworks 
  • Provide programmatic and technical guidance and inputs to develop innovative project strategies and implementation 
  • Ensure preparation and submission of all progress reports, periodic reports, donor reports etc. of the innovative projects 
  • Plan and ensure all the studies such as baseline, midterm, final evaluation of the innovative projects

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Science/ Development Studies/ Gender Studies from any recognised university with all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA 2.50 in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of working experience in relevant field

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Have conceptual Knowledge on key gender and development in the context of Bangladesh
  • Have practical experience in project management, implementation of gender programme, oversight of budget and other resources 
  • Skills in developing reports on strategic directions 
  • Excellent team player and building relationships
  Salary and benefits  

Salary Range: Negotiable
