Bangladesh Nari Progati Sangha (BNPS) an activist women-led organization in Bangladesh is looking for experienced personnel for the following position for their project titled; Our Lives, Our Health, Our Futures. This a five year’s long project starting from January, 2019 to promote gender equality and women and girl’s empowerment in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT). The project will provide organizational, technical and financial support to local CSOs to strengthen their capacity to address the needs and rights of young women and adolescent girls, specifically in relation to their Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV). BNPS as technical partners’ of Simavi-Netherlands, received fund from European Commission (EC).
01.Position: Project Manager (01) Based in Dhaka Head Office |
Monthly Consolidated Salary (inclusive of Festival Bonus): BDT: 78,000-80,000 |
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Science.
- 07-10 years progressive professional work experience in INGOs/NGOs programme management.
- Capacity in writing donor report.
- Strong inter-personal communication skills.
- Advance knowledge in computer operation.
- Willing to travel to the field and work in team context.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for coordination of the programme team at BNPS. Works closely with Simavi Dhaka to coordinate programme implementation, including capacity building activities of cluster leads and CSOs. Works with BNPS lobby and advocacy coordinator and BNPS liaison officer at CHT to facilitate work with government at national and local level, and local traditional leaders in CHT. Responsible for ensuring quality and timely annual planning, budgeting and reporting of project activities. |
02.Position: Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (01) Based in Chattogram Liaison Office |
Monthly Consolidated Salary (inclusive of Festival Bonus): BDT: 36,000-38,000 |
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree preferably in Economics and Statistics.
- 03-05 years’ experience in NGOs preferable in M&E.
- Knowledge in data management, tools settings and MIS is preferred.
- Willing to travel to the field and work in team context.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for data collection, data management, monitoring and MIS. |
03.Position: Master Trainer (03) Based in Chattogram Hill Districts |
Monthly Consolidated Salary (inclusive of Festival Bonus): BDT: 55,000-57,000 |
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Science.
- 05-07 years’ experience in NGOs, especially in training and capacity development.
- Assisting CSOs for quality implementation of activities and achieving project objectives.
- Skills in training facilitation, module development and reporting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Willing to travel to the field and work in team context.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for capacity building training for cluster leads and CSOs on thematic areas needed for the implementation of activities (women-centered programming, WASH/MH, SRHR / GBV). Work closely with BNPS Capacity Development Coordinator. |
04.Position: Project Liaison Officer (01)
Based in Chattogram Liaison Office |
Monthly Consolidated Salary (inclusive of Festival Bonus): BDT: 26,000-28,000 |
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor degree with 3 to 4 years’ relevant work experience as Liaison Officer.
- Knowledge in record keeping, office management and basic computer operation.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for coordination with direct and indirect project stakeholders |
05.Position: Accountant cum Logistician (01) Based in Chattogram Liaison Office |
Monthly Consolidated Salary (inclusive of Festival Bonus): BDT: 33,000-35,000 |
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance with 3 to 4 years’ work experience in accounts management.
- Knowledge of computer software (tally) is preferable.
Major Areas of Responsibility: Responsible for day to day project accounts, budgeting and financial monitoring and control, timely transfer of funding to local CSOs. Will ensure support to local CSOs on financial reporting and controlling of expenses. |
