Bangladesh Mahila Parishad (BMP) is a women’s human rights organization. BMP emerged as a woman’s group the preparatory phase of liberation war of Bangladesh in 1970. It is a voluntary organization working for more than four decades and pioneering the women’s movement with slogan ‘Women’s Rights are Human Rights’. The organization is committed to uphold the values of equality.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and executes programs related with publication of BMP
  • Compile and compose reports for different units of BMP
  • Prepare and edit of all print and publication documents of BMP
  • Assist publication of quarterly magazine “Mahila Samachar”
  • Arrange, review and lay out of  Mahila Samachar
  • Circulations of Mahila Samachar
  • Preparing press release
  • Visit primary branches as and when necessary
  • Carry out other responsibilities for the management according to the requirement

Educational Requirements
Masters from any Reputed University 

Experience Requirements
5 to 10 year(s) experience in any reputed publication sector or similar experience in any organization.

The applicants should have in the following requirements:

  • Age not above 40 years.
  •  Conceptual clarity in gender equality & movement.
  •  Candidates will be enthusiastic to work for any branch of BMP.
  •  Efficiency in written and verbal communication both in English & Bengali.
  •  Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and MS-Power Point.
