BLAST-YPSA Consortium is going to implement the project named Community Legal Services for Access to Justice” funded by DFID and managed by Maxwell Stamp PLC, CLS for 33 months period up to 31 March 2017 in three upazillas - Sandwip, Fatikchari, Rangunia of Chittagong district and three upazillas - Ramu, Moeshkhali and Kutubdia in Coxs bazaar district.

Monitoring and Documentation Officer

Job Summary:
There will be two position for this post.  One will be based in Chittagong and another will be based in Coxs’ Bazar district. The Monitoring, Evaluation and Documentation Officer will have the overall responsibility of monitoring, the evaluation and documentation of the different activities proposed in the project’s work plan

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Involve in developing and preparing monitoring tools, formats, quantitative and qualitative reports, performanceindicators/checklists to assess programme activities with timelines and milestones;
  • Implement M&E activities as per the overall work plan and analyze findings and outcomes of M&E activities on a regular basis;
  • Coordinate and communicate with different stakeholders for proper monitoring and evaluation of the project activities;
  • Collect and analyze data and support Programme Coordinator in preparation of quarterly and annual reports to be submitted to management and CLS;
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions withUpazilla managers.
  • Documentation of implementation process of the project with effort to capture effectively the process and results;
  • Develop a sound documentation framework that will be used as a common template by the project team and the implementing partners;
  • Travel to project location on issues related to M&E and documentation of the work done by the project.

Educational Requirement:

  • Masters in Sociology/Development Studies/Economics or any relevant subjects.

Experience Requirement:

  • 3 years working experience in monitoring and documentation activities in any reputed NGOs.
  • Experience in design and building of a monitoring documentation system.

Additional Job Requirement:

  • Good Team player withsocial and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill inBangla and English.
  • Proficient in Computer Operations, MS Office Application including typing preferably in English and Bengali both , E-mail & Internet.

Salary & Benefit:

  • Monthly consolidated salary Tk. 35,000/-.
  • Two festival bonuses equivalent to one month’s basic salary each payable after successful completion of 6 months’ probation
  • Costs in relation to field work, including travel and daily allowances, will be borne by the organisation
