Role Profile

JOB TITLE : Business Development Officer, Printing Ink Business
FUNCTION : Sales & Marketing
LOCATION : Dhaka

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare the printing ink-type wise and customer-wise budget in line with corporate objective and develop ground level strategy to achieve set budget  
  • Initiate the customer mapping and identify the customer’ requirements, develop the requirements in coordination with R&D so that customers get the optimum quality at right price
  • Develop the insightful relationship with purchase team, technical team and other important stakeholders to penetrate and sustain with desired cooperation from customer end by rendering value added services
  • Understand the new requirements of customers and new development in this sector to take timely initiative to keep BPBL’s innovation and development pipeline contemporary and befitting to the market in coordination with R&D
  • Conduct the demonstration in the production line to establish the product in the process and make necessary technical adjustments, if necessary, to develop new customers to keep the portfolio growing
  • Ensure to deliver the required after sales and technical service to the customers for avoiding any difficulties in using BPBL’s printing ink
  • Embrace and execute financial norms and customer service guidelines to win the deal and ensure the business forecast to deliver the product timely to the customers backed by efficient management of working capital
  • Organize and conduct training and workshops to transfer required knowledge and new development to all relevant stakeholders to establish different functional benefits and technical parameters
  • Prepare and submit reports on different business issues to update the management on business performance 

Knowledge, Experience and Competencies

Qualification: B.Sc in Chemical Engineering / MSc in chemistry.

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Sales in B2B business. Experience in Sales & Marketing in
  • Printing ink industry will be preferred.
