Role Profile

JOB TITLE : Territory Manager
FUNCTION : Sales
SUB-FUNCTION (If Applicale) : Industrial
LOCATION : Dhaka

Key Accountabilities

  • Visiting operational areas and identifying the customer needs through discussion with stakeholders and through technical inspection of the painting area
  • Preparing and submitting quotations based on product requirement and compatible business terms; Negotiating with the customer based on the quotation and communicating to supervising manager any special business terms for approval
  • Creating and continuing a sustainable professional relationship at different levels of existing and new client organization to analyze any future demand and to ensure business achievement; reconciling any customer complaints
  • Liaising with the finance and sales administration for executing invoice operation; Liaising with the product distribution team for timely stocking and delivering materials.
  • Liaising with the Supply Chain for demand planning, forecasting and timely raising of special orders
  • Collecting payments/tax deduction documents from the customer, following up payment operation (and tax document issuance) at customers’ end and liaising with accounts and finance for receivables adjustment
  • Gathering information on competitor operations and executing necessary countermeasures with supervising manager’s approval
  • Liaising with Marketing for material pricing, new material production and promotional activities; Liaising with Research and Development team for new material development, sample development and paint specification preparation
  • Conducting paint application projects using trained applicators and ensuring on-time project delivery
  • Developing paint applicator pool and organizing trainings for the applicators if required
  • Preparing and submitting activity reports and monthly business reports to the supervising manager
  • Conducting and participating in workshops and seminars
  • Liaising with other sales teams (project, prolinks and trade sales) for collaboration and sharing of information

Qualification:

  • B.Sc in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • MBA /1-2 years of relevant experience will be an additional advantage.
