Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owners’ Association (BEIOA) is the apex trade body for the development of the Light Engineering sector of the country. Established in 1984, BEIOA is engaged to continual improvement of the sector through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assist legislation and also assisting to introducing new technologies. Since, 2015 BEIOA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (PIU). The objective of the training is to create a pool of skilled work force to improve the performance and product of the industry and workshops that to contribute to the development in the light engineering sector and the country as well.

Position : Executive Administration & HR

Expected to join from 2nd March, 2019

Report to: Chief Coordinator

Job Description / Responsibility
The Executive- Administration will be responsible for:

  • Welcome the guests, visitors, trainees and others over phone and in person
  • Office correspondence, keep all files and records (both electronically & hard copy)
  • Organize a filing system for important and confidential documents
  • Assist to update office policies as needed
  • Prepare meeting minutes, reports and presentations with statistical data, as assigned
  • Website Maintenance
  • Bio-metric Attendance information counts down
  • Perform any other task required by the Chief Coordinator or other management professionals.

Job Nature: Contractual

Educational Requirements

  • Masters in any relevant discipline / Management / HRM from public / well reputed private universities with minimum 2nd Division/Class at all level.

Experience Requirements: At least 5 year(s)

Job Requirements

  • Age 30 to 35 year(s)
  • Here are some skills one need to effectively function in this role of administrative executive Such as: Interpersonal skills, Numeracy, Self-Initiative/Decision Making, Problem Solving/Analytical skills, Organizing, Computing both in English & Bangla
  • Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bangla
  • Preference will be given to candidates having management background and experience of working in NGOs, Private Companies, Government Projects
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc and website management is a must.
