Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owners’ Association (BEIOA) is the apex trade body for the development of the Light Engineering sector of the country. Established in 1984, BEIOA is engaged to continual improvement of the sector through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assist legislation and also assisting to introducing new technologies. Since, 2015 BEIOA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (PIU). The objective of the training is to create a pool of skilled work force to improve the performance and product of the industry and workshops that to contribute to the development in the light engineering sector and the country as well.

Position : Lead Trainer:  CNC Machine Operation (Expected to join from 1st October, 2018)

Report to:   Coordinator- Training

Experiences and Activities:

The Lead Trainer of CNC Machine Operation will be responsible and experience of following activities;

• Teach and demonstrate across a range of TVET programmes on CNC Machining and Programming through updated software.
• Conduct lessons, lectures, and tutorials using teaching methods and develop CBLM according to CBT&A standard.
• Undertake preparation and marking in line with normal training duties associated with learning programmes.
• Facilitate learning by the selection and development of materials and methods appropriate to trainee needs and course level according to CBT&A standard
• Provide training to trainees with feedback and guidance to support their learning and enhance their knowledge and progress within the constraints of assessment confidentiality
• Maintain accurate and appropriate records, registers and timetables and make these available on demand to administration and external agencies.
•  Assist enrolment, counseling with job placement and induction of trainees, evaluation and other administrative and promotional tasks as required by management to support courses.
• Conduct assessments as necessary in the workplace in order to deliver the curriculum.
• Prepare assignment material and examination questions as appropriate.
• Mark, grade and give written or verbal assessment as required supporting trainees feedback and progress.
• Promote the agreed policies for Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities and smoking etc.
• Adhere to institutes guidelines including those relating to Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, Initial Student Testing, Learning Difficulties, Disciplinary Procedures and Guidelines for using the Learning Centre.

Essential qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum qualification for Lead Trainer will be BSc/Diploma Engineering in Mechanical engineering from reputed public/private universities or govt. polytechnic institute based on the course or relevant discipline with minimum 2nd Division/Class at all level.
• The Lead Trainer should have minimum five year’s training/industry experience with completion of BSc engineering/diploma in Engineering.
• BEIOA-SEIP Project will be given preference to the trainers those who have teaching/training experience in TVET sector.
• During selection of trainers, female and ethnic, socially handicapped candidates etc. to be considered subject to fulfillment of above qualifications and availability.
• Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bengali.
• Age limit for the applicant is 25-45 years.
• The Lead Trainer should have versed knowledge with proven skills on solid works, master cam, auto cad and other CNC related software.
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
