Job brief:
We are looking for an experienced senior accountant to ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and by establishing quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

No. of Vacancies: 2 (Two) Position

Job Description / Responsibility

• Will act as an in-charge of all accounts of this construction company projects and officials by record keeping of all transactions and ensure accurate provisioning.
• Prepare and Analyse Weekly/Monthly Financial Reports for Management
• Should have sound knowledge of Cash Basis Accounting.
• Process running bills of vendors as per work orders issued & Maintain and operate Cash book.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Effectively communicate with Project Managers and other project accountants, regarding contract documents, change orders, approvals and any additional services-related to billing, payroll, and accounts payable.
• Generate monthly payroll for employees
• Liaison with the company staff for collecting various types of accounting information for conducting regular work smoothly.
• Check, record and archive expenditure, voucher, requisition, and cash/bank transactions & update ledger.
• Knowledge of Income Tax, TDS, VDS, Rules and regulations of NBR
• Adequate & stable knowledge on MS Office package (Word & Excel)
• Must have experience in setting up or regularly using QuickBooks Desktop
• Experience with Project Management software would be highly appreciated

Job Requirements

• Age limit 30-35
• Experience in working with construction\contracting companies will be highly preferable
• Proven experience in mid-level accountant position
• Experience in preparing financial statements subjected to internal and external auditing
• Comprehensive knowledge of Tax, VAT and NBR Rules and Regulation is compulsory
• Knowledge on L/C, Import & Export policy, CIP, CIF, EXW Pricing, Bid Security, Bank Credit Line will be highly appreciated

Educational Requirements

• Master/Hon's/BBA degree from reputed university in Accounting, Finance or relevant
• ACCA/CA Partly completed candidates will get priority
