Overall Role Description:

• The candidate shall support team of designers, draughtsman and engineers working on various projects for 3D Modeling, Preparation of various layouts and material take off. Designer shall be able to take lead for modeling and inter-discipline coordination activities in consultation with Lead Engineer.

Qualification / Experience Required:

• BSc in EEE / Certificate in drafting in Electrical
• Minimum of 03 years’ work experience in Electrical Design for Sub-station, Chemical / Petrochemical / Fertilizer plants, preferably with consulting engineering companies.

Mandatory Skills:

• AutoCAD
• Model review tools Navisworks / SPR
• Clash report resolution
• Preparation of Lighting, Earthing, Power & Cable Tray Layouts
• Preparation of Substation Equipment Layout
• Preparation of standard installation sketches
• Design of electrical SLD with protection schemes, calculation for illumination, earthing layouts
• Design of ELV system mainly consists of fire & alarm, access control, public address and their interfacing with each other
• Prepare design specifications and develop layout drawings.
• Preparation of tender & enquiry documents for electrical equipment, package items, estimation of contractor MTO and project costing.
• Knowledge of IS / IEC / BS / NEC standards.
• Material Take Off (MTO) preparation
• Inter-discipline Coordination
• Good verbal and written communication,

Additional Skills:

• Exposure to workshare project execution model
• Lighting Softwares (Luxicon, Dialux, Chalmit etc) will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of Cable Sizing, Cable Tray Sizing, Lighting Design, Cable schedule preparation will be an added advantage
• Estimation of Quantities is Added advantage

• Dhaka
• Candidates may need to travel to different site offices

Salary Range: Negotiable
