Background: Red Cross-Red Crescent movement is the largest volunteer organization in the world. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society(BDRCS), a national society of the movement, constituted on 31 March 1973 by the President's Order No.26 of 1973 with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971, is the biggest humanitarian organization in Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the government, the Society provides humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable people and over the last 47 years, has undertaken a wide range of activities in humanitarian response, disaster management, health, capacity building and in promoting Red Cross/Red Crescent ideals and principles.

Duties and Responsibilities
Overall Responsibilities:
- Overall management and supervision of the 5 health centres & 3 PHC centres.
- Supervision of activities carried out by the BDRCS Doctors, Nurses, Technicians and support staffs and build a healthy team spirit among different types of health centres staffs.
- Coach senior staff in the management and capacity building of their teams, seeking support from the BDRCS Health team leader and HR where needed.
- Liaison with the office of the RRRC, Civil Surgeon, Police Department & other local administration offices of the people’s Republic of Bangladesh.
- Maintains a network and coordinates with various other Health care providers in the area.
- Planning and management of financial and human resources for the health centres & PHC centres, with the support of Human Resource department and Finance department of BDRCS.
- Coordinates with the Partner national society & International Red Cross & Red Crescent societies
- Working with PNS and HR to ensure the health centres & PHC staffs is a safe and secure place for staff to work and live; and that proper contingency and evacuation plans are in place.
Qualification & Experience:
- Masters in Social Science/Disaster Management/Public Health/ management related field from any reputed university.
- Knowledge of national policies, issues and legal frameworks related to Emergency crisis situation Experience in management would be an advantage.
- Good command in English and Bengali language.
- Strong skills in strategic analysis, Planning and management.
- Effective leader, capable of building trust and inspect within the immediate field hospital team and more broadly.

- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Knowledge on local context.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Bangla;
- Knowledge of relevant computer packages
