Hiring individual consultant for conducting and producing final report of inter-project lessons learned workshop - Cox’s Bazar

The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is the largest humanitarian organisation working across Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the Government, the Society provides humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable population. Over the years, Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) has undertaken a wide range of activities in disaster management, health, capacity building and in promoting RCRC ideals and principles. To become the leading humanitarian organization in Bangladesh, BDRCS through various challenges continues to make steady progress towards its vision and mission in providing vital services to the most vulnerable in an effective, transparent and self-sustainable manner.

Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) has been implementing Vulnerability to Resilience (V2R) Extension Projects in Barishal, Kurigram and Cox’s Bazar with the technical support of the British Red Cross.

The BDRCS is now looking for a suitable Bangladeshi National with relevant experience for the following assignment:

Position Title : Consultant for conducting and producing final report of workshop
Nature of Job  : Contractual
Duration of contract : 10 Days (From the day of signing the contract)


The purpose of the workshop is to identify the learning (challenges, good practices, what could have been done differently etc.) of implementation of V2R projects in Kurigram and Barishal in an interactive way with the participation of staff and volunteers of BDRCS and staff of BRC. The learning, suggestions and recommendations of the workshop will be fed into the project management process of Cox’s Bazar V2R project to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the V2R model.

  • Interested professionals are requested to (i) submit a letter of interest (1page) addressing the Country Manager-British Red Cross, Bangladesh Country Office (ii) a brief technical proposal (maximum of 3 pages focusing on objectives, methods and approach and financial Proposal) with recently updated CVs of professionals to be involved in the documentary development. (iii) Applicants should submit a completed work/product as part of their proposal as well as references (organizations previously worked with).
