Job Description / Responsibility

  • The Certification Officer will be responsible for ensuring overall effectiveness and services of Cash Incentives to be given for IT/ITES export by monitoring front line service, managing the documents, coordinating online and offline services, Documents Verification and Issuing certificate.
  • S/he will report to the respective Board of Director and or Secretary of BASIS. 
  • The major tasks of the Certification Officer will include the following:

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the Cash Incentive Service Team and procedure
  • Identify, assess and inform the authority in regular intervals on day-to-day cash incentive Services.
  • Counseling, handling critical scenario & grievance issues relating to Cash incentives.
  • Liaising with the respective Audit firms and banks for resolving issues that would arise in the process time to time.
  • Communication with Bangladesh Bank if needed.
  • Verifying all necessary documents as per the checklist and taking ownership in issuing the BASIS Cash Incentive Certificate.
  • Managing the operational activities of Cash Incentive Services Team.
  • Guide and Supervise the Cash Incentive Services Team members.
  • Meeting up the regular queries that come from Banks, Audit firms, Applicants and others stakeholders.
  • Follow and ensure all internal control of information, policies and procedure.
  • Submission of periodical reports on Cash Incentive Services.
  • Ensuring verification and preservation of all documents (Work Order/ Sales Contract/ Agreement/ MoU, Proceed Realization Certificate (PRC), Staff Information, Internal Budget etc.) with confidentiality.

Job Nature: Full-time

Educational Requirements

  • MBA/ Masters in any discipline. (Business and related areas/ Finance/Economics/Management are preferred)

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 5 year(s) in related field
  • Experience relating to Cash Incentive Process and operation will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Export-import, Commercial work, International Trade, Client Services is essential.
  • Working Experience in Trade Association, Chamber, Banks and Financial institute will be an added value.
  • Familiar with Banking and Government Service.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must have knowledge on Office Management, Record Management, Documentation etc.
  • MS Office package especially in Excel.
  • Pro-activeness and Capabilities to handle any situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills both in English and Bangla.
  • Strong understanding of ICT industry of Bangladesh.

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary Range: Negotiable
