Job Description / Responsibility:
Working under BFM, the Store Officer will be responsible for the receipt of goods, safekeeping and inventory management.
Responsibilities include:
During implementation:
- Administer the receipt of equipment and supplies as per the packing list and/or invoice
- Provide onsite support to various implementation partners such as equipment vendor, civil construction contractor etc.
- Represent BFM in the issuance of reports for the receipt and usage of stocks and supplies; to be duly countersigned by the representatives of implementation partners
- Engage in activities delegated/instructed by management time to time
Post Implementation:
- Administer the process of accepting and discharging goods such as equipment spare parts, raw material etc.
- Issue material receipt reports and identify therein any discrepancy of quantity or quality from the invoice/work order/supply agreement etc.
- Ensure safety of the stored items for pilferage, mishandling and damage from animals such as rodents.
- Prepare periodic stock report and conduct full stock taking as per the internal policies and procedures.
- Supervising junior staffs
- Engage in activities delegated/instructed by management time to time.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in a related discipline or, any other accredited related program.
Other Requirements:
- Significant experience in a similar role, preferably above 3 years
- Effective communication ability in both Bangla and English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Adaptability
- Energy and enthusiasm
Job Location: Rajshahi or in any other location of Bangladesh.
