Position Title: Project Engineer

Position Location: BAIUST, Comilla Cantonment

Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of a Project Engineer. The employee will be  responsible for the following:

• Prepare tender documents, schedules, coordinate and monitor the assigned    engineering projects.
• Prepare and execute policies/guidelines for assigned projects.
• Estimate materials as per requisition in accordance with project budget.
• Prepare comparative statements of actual works done against planned projects and ensure actions to maintain the work schedule.
• Supervise the construction works of assigned Projects.
• Ensure compliance of applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications of construction works.
• Processing/vetting of all bills related to project/maintenance works of the University.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Design and drawing of small scale construction works and processing.
• Any others tasks as assigned by the Authority.

Academic Qualification and Experiences.

• B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any reputed University
• Minimum 6 years of practical experiences in the relevant field
• Strong Project Management Skills desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Sound Knowledge in MS Project & Auto CAD

Employment Type: Contractual
