Position Title: Lecturer

Position Location: BAIUST, Comilla Cantonment

Subject Areas: English 

Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for full time Faculties for the Dept of English. The successful candidate should be able to:

• Plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize students’ learning.
• Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department’s programs.
• Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students’ work.
• To contribute to research through high quality publications.
• Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required.

Academic Qualification and Experiences

• Four-year honours with Masters Degree from a reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade in the entire educational curriculum.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Bengali.
• Candidates with M Phil Degree and having publications will be given preference.

Salary: An attractive package based on the qualifications and experience as per University Service Rules.
