Responsibilities

• Develop the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments;
• Develop and improve existing QC systems to meet the international standards and ensure production outputs are in line with company specifications.
• Control and ensure quality of sewing, finishing, packing as per customer’s requirements;
• Identify quality issues and develop and recommend corrective action plans.
• Monitor and support the quality issues and communicate with audit and pre inspection team.
• Fabric receiving record, inspection, shade, gsm, shrinkage report check.
• Side set making time information, before wash and after wash measurement & report, pattern correction;
• Conduct floor audits and manage first article and first piece inspection and report;
• Provides guidance to workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products;
• Directs workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products;
• Participate in PP meeting & follow-up the line feeding checklist;
• First output review against the sample. Follow up first output garment measurement report;
• Inline inspection findings should be discussed with respective Production, IE & QA team to get the corrective actions;
• Maintain effective communications with members of the buying, merchandising and production.
• Directly reports to the MD regarding the quality of the garments being produced on the line;

Additional Requirement:

• Fluency in English is mandatory
• Has to have strong technical knowledge of woven bottoms, especially denims
• Has to have knowledge of Cutting, Sewing, Washing and Finishing process of a pair of jeans.;
• Strong leadership and team management skill in order to supervise and inspire team members;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with Denims

Educational qualifications
A bachelors or Master’s Degree in textile engineering would be preferable however not mandatory
