Associate Manager / Manager, Payment & Asset Management

Employment Type:  Full Time Employment                           Job Location: Dhaka

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drafting the policies and process relating to fixed assets and Insurance management of Bank;
  • Set up and monitor a system of controls, procedures, and forms for the recording and management of fixed assets;
  • Ensure proper recording of fixed asset acquisitions and dispositions in the accounting system;
  • Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed;
  • Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger to the general ledger in regular interval
  • Ensure proper depreciation run monthly and booking the same in General Ledger
  • Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation;
  • Ensure insurance of Bank’s all assets at minimum cost
  • Contact with Insurance Companies and negotiate with them for better price
  • Submit insurance claim, settlement and recording of the claim in the books;
  • Conduct analysis related to fixed assets and insurance as requested by management;

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • BBA and/or MBA from any reputed public or private universities of Bangladesh
  • Business graduate with Chartered Accountancy (CA)  from reputed Accounting Firm

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • 3-7 years of experience in relevant field in reputed bank or financial institution
  • Strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal skill & good team player
  • Strong leadership quality and staff motivation skill
  • Strong Command over Microsoft Office, Systems Evaluation, Analysis and Monitoring
  • Ability to work under pressure situation and ability to complete all assignments in a timely and effective manner
  • Expert user of MS Excel and Access, Systems Evaluation, Analysis and Monitoring
  • Excellent communication skill in both English & Bengali
