Senior Manager- Retail Business Finance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for annual budgeting of respective divisions and translating budgets into key cost and revenue drivers and make scenario based forecast on rolling basis
  • Coordinate with related stakeholders, collect data and feed information into the preparation of strategic plan, and review it on annual basis, monitor execution and report progress
  • Spot and assess industry news, trend and regulatory changes and factor those into making response plan
  • Fund Transfer Pricing (FTP) management.
  • Ensure timely production and circulation of regular and adhoc MIS and reports to management committee, board and business managers to drive business, monitor and assess performance
  • Team up with technology and operation to ensure data accuracy and resolve system issues and develop new reporting tool/data dump in pace with the changes in business objectives and organizational structure
  • Assist to understand business direction and needs and develop solutions, roadmaps and assessment of potential business impacts.
  • Give pre-alerts to functional managers on the deterioration of business, product profitability, Customer Profitability, portfolio quality, cost over-run and revenue slippage and work together with respective managers to bring things back on track
  • Work in partnership with business managers in formulating strategy, setting KPIs, rationalizing cost and improving balance sheet efficiency and achieving P&L target
  • Interpret and communicate numbers, tell the story and deliver insights to respective managers and place numbers at the heart of their decision making

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • Business Graduate from a well-recognized institution preferably majoring in Finance/ Accounting. Candidates with professional degree (CA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent) will be given preference.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum 8-10 years of corporate experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Financials will be an added advantage
  • Must possess analytical skills, be data driven in decision making.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills   
  • Positive, energetic and adaptive to change
