KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the respective Collection Team & ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of team members.
  • Budget, forecast and monitor collections costs for Consumer Banking.
  • Ensure proper management of account receivables by minimizing net credit losses of current portfolio and maximizing recoveries. Applying various collections actions on consumer banking asset portfolio within budgetary limits.
  • Implement adaptive control system into collections and develop performance and risk based collections culture.
  • Controlling forward flow rates and ensuring maximum backward flow and regularization of delinquent loans.
  • Continual testing of existing processes in order to arrive at best & cost-effective process
  • Delivering service levels within acceptable ranges including customer service, especially at early stage of delinquencies.
    Develop and maintain easy to implement yet challenging incentive programs for collectors which has to be tactical and long term
  • External Recovery Agency Management. Lay down policies relating to external agency management – recruitment to termination. Remuneration/commission policies for external agencies.
  • Continuously acquire and enhance knowledge of business/product strategies, reporting tools, technical processes and advanced analytical tools/methodologies in order to provide coaching to direct reports.
  • Lead and create daily, weekly and monthly report of Retail Collections results to senior management and other stakeholders within Retail Business.
  • Closely monitor operational KPI's to ensure consistency in execution & trends
  • Lead automation of reports to increase productivity, efficiency and accuracy of MIS ensuring business stakeholders are minimizing time spent on repetitive or manual tasks
  • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple collections related initiatives, campaign, projects and ad-hoc reporting needs with Retail Collections.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree from UGC granted university. Having additional degree in MBA/ Masters/ Professional degree in CRM will be considered as an added advantage.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Banking sector (Retail Banking- Loan & Credit Card) will be preferred including managerial experience in a high volume Collection/Recovery environment.
  • Must possess analytical skills, be data driven in decision making.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Effective written and oral communication in English.
  • Negotiation Skills, Leadership and influencing skills
  • Positive, energetic and adaptive to change
