Officer-DC-DR Operations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure smooth & uninterrupted 24/7 operation of different banking services and core banking operations along with disaster recovery planning.
  • Different Core banking Systems & ADC channel Operations & settlement
  • In-house Developed System Operations & settlement
  • Make sure all necessary changes in Data Center are done as per approval & policy
  • Necessary process implement for problem/disaster severity and maintain it
  • Execute & maintain Backup and archive necessary Data and Documents.
  • Maintain all necessary log sheet on day-to-day basis
  • Face the internal & external audit
  • To ensure all Backup tape are kept in fire proof cabinet with safety and off site location of head office (DR Site)
  • To provide nonbusiness hour support for deployment of scripts and ongoing verification of Security patch’s, OS, core applications, Mail System, SMS Banking, Internet Banking, Card Pro, different server systems and all In-house Developed System maintenance as per proper approval & as required by stake holders.
  • To assist in new implementations or upgrades to existing systems, including project management, tracking and reporting collaborating with other internal or external assigned teams.
  • To assist in the provision of business recovery sites to give the ability to conduct business transactions and monitor exposure in the event of a disaster
  • Responsible for the enforcement of BBL strategies in all BBL Data Center including ensuring risk / compliance and security / build standards are followed
  • Problem and change management – outstanding problem\change management, call logging, call trends, call reporting including high severity problem control. All Help Desk Tickets related initiatives and updates. Ensuring standards are adhered to, or dispensations raised
  • Work closely with other IT Team to provide technical support to BBL users
  • To attend all Data Center related training for the team member and utilize it for better operations
  • After Business Hour branch level communication for Core Banking System (CBS)
  • ATM Monitoring (transaction, all booth, cassette status, dispense, media card) & report generation
  • CDM & CDM link monitoring
  • Network Monitoring
  • IRIS & iPay Transaction monitoring
  • Data Center Infrastructure Monitoring with different monitoring tools.
  • DC alarming system (heat, smoke, fire, water, dust, temperature, humidity) & notifications
  • SMS (alert/push/pull) Monitoring
  • UPS/cooling system Monitoring
  • ABS/ADC system Monitoring
  • CBS Servers Performance Monitoring (Live Servers)
  • CBS Servers Performance Monitoring (DR Servers)
  • Alternative Distribution Channel (banking) Servers (DC and DRS) Performance Monitoring
  • CBS and ADC/ABS Servers (Live Servers):
    - File system Monitoring
    - Error log monitoring
    - Service health monitoring
  • CBS and ADC/ABS Servers (DR Servers):
    - File system Monitoring
    - Error log monitoring
    - Database performance monitoring
    - Service health monitoring
    - Process monitoring
    - Database performance monitoring
  • Data Center CCTV monitoring
  • Systematic Communication (phone call/sms/email) with the respective stakeholders & timely notification.
  • Notify / inform (through mail, sms, phone call) respective stakeholders & maintain notification escalation matrix.   

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Masters / Bachelor’s degree in CS/CSE/ECE/ETE from reputed universities with satisfactory academic track record
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience in relevant field but Fresher can also apply.
  • Knowledge on Unix/Linux, oracle will be given priority.
  • Knowledge on power /cooling is preferable.
  • Proactive, passionate and go getter attitude
  • Extrovert personality with good communication and interpersonal skill
  • Should have good personal skills and understand the needs of other department members
