Job Description / Responsibility
- Having excellent knowledge and expertise in Customs Clearing & Forwarding, Port Clearance, freight forwarding, export and import processes, etc
- Customs rules and regulations of the Government of Bangladesh.
- Rules & Regulation of Chittagong Port.
- Responsible to execute, co-ordinate, monitor and manage export/import works of steel consignments
- Co-ordinate in synchronization with Government Officials, Banks, Freight Forwarders, Transport for clearing Export/Import consignments by Sea
- To execute, Monitoring shipment, Documentation and fast Customs Clearance of goods from the ports.
- To monitor and update customs formalities, entries in pass book in the port.
- Dealing with shipping lines & Freight Forwarders
- Dealing and managing the logistics from Chittagong port to factory
- Other duties as assigned by the management
Experience & Job Requirements
- At least 10 year(s) in Clearing & Forwarding, Freight Forwarding and other related works
- Working knowledge in English & Bengali
- Basic computer skills
- Flexible working hours
- Must be prepared to stay on multiple locations as assignment dictates or necessitates.
Should have knowledge in following areas :
- Detailed knowledge of Customs formalities
- Documentation knowledge for clearing the Imported goods from customs
- Documentation knowledge for forwarding the Exported goods
- H.S code and its application
- Bill of Entry, Bill of Exchange (B/E), Bill of Lading (B/L), Bill of Export
- SRO, SWIFT, UCP-600, HAB, MAWB, PSI, ICD, LCL & FCL Cargo, IGM & EGM
Assessable Value & Invoice value, Tax Holiday & Duty Drawback, INCOTERMS, Commercial, Banking, Customs and Shipping terms knowledge
- Tariff of Import and Export goods
- Export Incentive,
- Pre- shipment inspection & Post shipment Inspection,
