Required Qualifications:
He/ She must have Bachelors in Civil Engineering/ Water Resources Engineering or similar discipline having a minimum of 10 years of experience in supervision of construction of different types of infrastructure like retaining wall, silt trap, regulator/navigation lock/ pump house, secondary and tertiary drainage network, road pavement, bridge, culvert etc. Candidates must stay full time in Chittagong.

Tasks:

• He would be responsible for ensuring quality of work and quality of material for the respective package (each package would be comprised of construction work tentatively for 6 khals) he would be assigned to;
• Responsible for supervising construction related staffs of the respective package;
• Monitoring the progress in construction of the structural interventions (retaining wall, silt trap, regulator/navigation lock/ pump house, secondary and tertiary drainage network, road pavement, bridge, culvert etc.) and ensure excavation of khals as per the detailed design of khal cross section;
• Ensure that all works comply with the approved engineering designs and technical specifications;
• Maintaining record of inventory/ material supply;
• Make engineering decisions regarding different issues, which may arise in field, in consultation with the Team Leader (Supervision and Monitoring), Residential Engineer, Assistant Residential Engineer and advise on work progress, quality control, and implementation.
