Job Context:

AEF is a registered non-profit society providing full service support for all Agami funded projects in Bangladesh. Agami is a US-registered non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting basic education for the underprivileged children in Bangladesh. Agami believes education is the primary driver for the economic emancipation of the disadvantaged. Hence, Agami is working to bring about a holistic societal change through secular quality education. AEF is looking for dynamic personnel who will be responsible to maintain and pursue the overall official activities in an efficient manner.

Job Description / Responsibility: This is a full-time position based in the AEF Dhaka office. Typical duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Provide leadership to Agami Education Foundation team for the development, management and implement of all programs, projects and initiatives (PPIs)
  • Oversee the PPIs are on track, perform review and analysis and keep the higher management properly informed
  • Develop and maintain consistent, clear and timely communications and reporting for all PPIs and update with the relevant executives in Bangladesh and US office of Agami
  • Responsible for developing standards and promoting activities that enhance operational procedures
  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized
  • Oversee preparation of   organizational annual report, press release,
  • Responsible for preparation and control of annual budget
  • Responsible for resource mobilization for smooth operation of the organization
  • Maintain liaison and coordinate with media, concern departments, service providers and GoB counterparts
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of Agami’s events
  • Comply with the rules and regulation of the government of Bangladesh
  • Should have the willingness to perform any other duties assigned by the management

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements:

  • Post graduate degree in relevant discipline

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate with post graduate degree from science background and having experience in online teaching/ digital education would be given priority
  • Candidate should be an accomplished team builder and motivator; and have leadership quality to manage all project staffs
  • Candidate must have working experience in education program for a minimum 5 years;
  • Candidates have proven experience as an Office manager will get the privilege in selection
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Bengali and English
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements and attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Candidate should have the capacity to develop project proposal and have sound knowledge on monitoring matrix.
  • Have the expertise to develop relationship with like-minded organization, donor agencies and should be comfortable in keeping close relationship with media etc.
  • Sound knowledge on, training content development, spreadsheet and accounts will be a plus

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary Range: BDT 65,000 to 75,000 per month

Other Benefit: Admissible benefit to be given as per organization policy
