An international image processing company together with Adcomm Holdings Ltd. is setting up its operation in Dhaka, Bangladesh with an aim to revolutionize the visual content of image editing and processing services to international brands and advertising agencies.

To initiate its operation in full force, we are looking for talented, self-driven candidates with leadership skills. A self-starter who is detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates comfort with ambiguity. A positive attitude is a must with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must possess the ability to succeed with minimal guidance, be skilled at anticipating problems, and managing a large team.


General Manager


The General Manager role is predominately internal facing and responsible for all the operational areas of the business, including Admin, HR, Finance. Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, managing operational costs, improving administration processes, and monitoring financial activities.

The successful candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, superior knowledge of business functions, exceptional budgeting and finance skills, and strong leadership qualities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage the execution of a high-volume, fast-paced image editing and image processing studio
  • Develop a long-term capacity strategy, workforce and workflow planning for studio operations
  • Manage administrative, logistical, human resources, and accounting services to support company operations.
  • Develop and manage financial budgets including capital and expenses for item count and facilities needs
  • Directs and oversees other staff members to make sure daily operations align with the vision of the company.
  • Develop and retain high-caliber teams by assessing current and future needs, and developing a holistic organizational model that scales with the needs of the business
  • Builds, leads and manages a best in class ecommerce team consisting of approximately 100+ team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with strong studio business and operations background preferably in offshore production company.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • A proven leader with the ability to lead, motivate and inspire diverse teams
  • Solid presentation skills and ability to explain complex processes
  • Ideally has worked within an Agile / Sprint team environment
  • Strong business acumen and quantitative problem-solving abilities with an ability to tackle unstructured/undefined problems and apply strategic frameworks
