Since 2007, ACF has been assisting vulnerable populations in Bangladesh in the nutrition, mental health, food security, and water and sanitation fields. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Grant Coordinator is responsible for:
Mission 1: Support the elaboration of donor reporting documents and ensure the follow up of the mission’s reporting obligations in relation with the Country Director, the DCDs and Divisional and Deputy Divisional Director
- Development if needed and updating tools for tracking and planning external reporting processes
- Updating the donors’ folders with templates, guidelines, and other relevant documents; Ensuring that the donors’ guidelines are known and respected by the mission’s team;
- Support to program and support team in compiling, editing, or otherwise completing external reports which include all required annexes
- Monitoring and improving the quality of interim and final reports by ensuring the respect of internal (for validation) and external deadlines and the compliance with the donor guidelines and requirements, and integrating formal and informal recommendation and lessons learnt;
- Acting as focal point for collecting, sharing and archiving the projects’ documents by:
- Sharing all official documentation (final/approved version of concept notes, proposals, reports, amendments etc.) with the concerned persons at mission’s and HQ’s level;
- Uploading all official and relevant documents on NAS server and NHF
- Support the MEAL and communication team in capitalizing learning from report outcomes
- Ensuring that the questions and comments from donors, auditors and evaluators are handled in coordination with the audit department
Mission 2: Ensure proper relationship with donors and support local fundraising
- Coordinate responses to requests for information from donors
- Participating in the research of donor funding opportunities with the CD, DCDs and FCs
- Support to CD and DCD-Programs in relations with other donors, on program development, and strategic issues, as delegated
- Support the CD in building relationships with major donors or companies and make presentations
- Research fundraising opportunities and write grant applications to potential donors
- Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on a database
- Ensuring major donors or companies are happy with their donation scheme (such as a charity of the year partnership) and are kept informed of progress and milestones
- Support CD to devise and organize local fundraising campaigns and events
- Spot fundraising opportunities and raise awareness of the organization’s work
Mission 3: Contribute to the development and roll out of the mission strategy in relation with the Country Director, Deputy Country Directors and Divisional and Deputy Divisional Director
- Participate in initiatives taken by the mission with regards to the strategies and its objectives
- Contribute to the training plan for the mission especially with regards to the capacity building of writing skills
- Participating in the drafting and preparation of concept notes and full proposals in coordination with DCD
- In coordination with the DCD, checking and ensuring the quality and coherence of the documents, and the compliance with guidelines and donors requirements;
- Integrating information and recommendations drawn from previous programs, donors meetings, evaluation reports, informal recommendations, etc.
Mission 4: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
- Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary
- Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries
- Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities
- Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees
- Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.

DEGREE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Educational / Professional Background:
Degree in social sciences or equivalent
Required Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in the humanitarian sector
- Experience in Fundraising
Required Competence & Skills:
- Knowledge in project´s management
- Technical background in WASH, Nutrition/health and/or FSL is a plus
- Knowledge on gender aspects is a plus
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Monthly Gross Salary Range : BDT 1,87,000/-
OTHER BENEFITS:
Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year.
Provident Fund – 7.5% of Basic Salary.
Performance Bonus – from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performants;
End of Contract Benefits - up to 2 months’ Gross salary.
Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
Leaves:
18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
10 days of paid casual leaves per year.
14 days of paid sick leaves per year.

Technical trainings at HQ or regional level (during first year of contract). – This for HoD and senior Managers.
Intermission Workshop at France once a year. This for HoD only
Participation to external trainings costs upon eligibility of the request.
