Job Description/Responsibility
- Understand fare rules, Re-validations, Re-issue and/or Refunds etc.
- Coordination with Embassies, Airlines, Hotels & Other Service Providers.
- The Incumbent should be target oriented and handling, managing & developing Travels and Tourism business.
- Have a general understanding of Holidays, Tours and overall Travel Arrangements & Event Management.
- Maintain Constant communication and follow-up with Clients.
- Proven English communication skills with ability to correspond in English-both written & verbal with International Partners.
- Plan, Arrange, Organize & Sell Holidays, Tours, and Hotels & Transfers.
- Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain client e-database.
- Handle customer inquiries both on phone and by email regarding Airlines Ticketing and Hotel booking.
- Manage and resolve customer information and follow up customer calls where necessary
- Plan and produce a tactical sales call plan & visit each week with an update of the previous week.
- A highly competent Ticketing Officer who has the expertise to issue tickets using all the existing GDS systems. Sabre GDS is mandatory.
- Sell/ Issue tickets and maintain related ticket sales paperwork.
- Able to collect payment from customers for tickets before the IATA payment dates.
- Operate GDS systems (Galileo, Abacus, and Amadeus) to issue domestic and international tickets.
- Able to issue, reissue, and refund of any ticket. Ensure ticket authenticity, sell ticket books, mark received tickets and maintain required documentation.
- Provide high level of customer service.
- Handle incoming calls and inquiries regarding ticket availability and provides accurate and thorough information regarding events.
- Follow internal control procedures for cash handling and credit purchases.0
- Ensure Integrity of ticket distribution and accountability.
- Fare Calculations & Quotations.
- Handling Group Bookings.
Job Nature
- Full Time: (10.00 PM – 7.00 PM)
Educational Requirements
Graduate/Equivalent degree from reputed university
Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years experience
- The applicant must have expertise in the following area(s):
Reservation/ Ticketing
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
IATA Travel Agent

- Knowledge of different language basics except Bengali & English is preferable.
- Should have strong and proven leadership skills, organizational skills, effective managing and decision-making skills.
