ESSENTIAL

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s Degree in sociology, or Disaster Management, or development study or in related field.
  • Master’s Degree in sociology or disaster management, or development study or in related field will be given more preference.

EXPERIENCE

 

 

  • At least 5 years of work experience with I/NGO or equivalent in management function including partner management.
  • Proven experience in project management in humanitarian contexts
  • Proven experience of security management and operating in insecure environments
  • Project cycle management including, needs assessment and proposal development experience
  • Team management in humanitarian environments
  • Monitoring & Evaluation
  • Strategic planning
  • Experience in WASH, Food Security and Nutrition sectors, Working to SPHERE standards, People In Aid and Red Cross Codes of Conduct
  • Experience in finance, HR and logistics systems

SKILLS/
ABILITIES
