Merchandiser Production: Principle Accountabilities of the Incumbent are mentioned below:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Vendor Performance
  • Provide reports and data for Supplier Scorecard
  • Responsible for area / department’s Delivery performance
  • Daily management of Production area and Team if have direct reports
  • Critical path weekly management process
  • Actions new vendor on-boarding & training
  • Responsible for Capacity Planning completed monthly
  • Manage all Vendor non-compliance issues (like hangers, trims etc.)
  • Review WIP report and alert manager of potential order problem and work w/vendor/factory to resolve the problems
  • Ensure on time delivery and quality product delivery with vendors and factories
  • GBSS System inputs and updates on time and accurate for area / departments
  • Review & monitor QA Team information to Vendors and help QA for problematic styles
  • Fit process follow up with Garment Techs and vendors
  • Issue and manage Purchase Order information on confirmed styles for Vendors
  • Review Red Tag, Pre-production and Bulk shipment samples
  • Manage shipment information ensuring Vendors on time Freight Forwarder bookings
  • Ensure that styles not past final inspection are not delivered to the CFS / Freight Forwarder
  • Follow up repeat orders with Vendors
  • Resolve production issues by travelling to factories and vendors
  • Builds effective relationships with TSSO Buying office functions
  • Ensure own way of working and values are supportive of Quality, ESC and Supply Chain Team
  • Support all continuous improvement process initiatives
  • Live the Target values and culture within the team and across the organisation
  • Identify and report safety concerns, demonstrate safe working behaviour and lead by example to establish a safe workplace

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role or as a Merchandiser
  • University graduate in any discipline
  • Experience of working in an overseas buying or sourcing office
  • Experience of merchandise sourcing, development and / or production
  • Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
  • Knowledge of product and technical specifications, vendors and costs
  • Commercial knowledge
  • Experience of a Sourcing Critical Path & tools to manage related milestones
  • Strong verbal and written English and local language
  • Strong IT skills especially in the use of MS-Office applications
