Senior ICT Officer

Location: Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, Job Type: 4 months (Temporary, Fixed Term)
[Only Bangladeshi nationals are eligible to apply]

Salary & Benefits: BDT. 10,56,451 per annum (13 months) gross (pro rata basis) with other benefits e.g. medical for spouse and children, contributory Provident fund, gratuity, leave & Insurance etc.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a dynamic team player who will contribute to Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihood (EFSVL) team in designing, Developing and Delivering (EFSVL and WASH) programme through ICT in line with ‘Oxfam One Program’ approach to contribute to ‘Oxfam in Bangladesh Program for category 2 emergency response team in Cox’s Bazar.

The post holder reports to EFSVL Coordinator

Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience in cash transfer, livelihood, or MEAL
  • Experience in utilizing application distribution management such as LMMS, SCOPE, Red Rose or Segovia
  • Experience in utilizing design survey using mobile data collection tools i.e ODK, Survey CTO, Mobenzi, Kobo collect, iForm builder
  • Experience on Cash Transfer programme, Mobile Money Transfer and Vouchers

Desirable

  • Sound knowledge and experience in research & development work or to develop/ explore new innovative ideas and piloting.
  • Clear understanding on gender and diversity issues.
  • Strong negotiation and peace building skills.
  • Assessment, analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in response to changing needs.
  • Ability to travel and to work in difficult and emergency circumstances.
