Job Description: Technician (Battery Maintenance)

Job Description / Responsibility

  • Repairs and recharges batteries for all electric-operated warehouse equipment by performing the following duties.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Report possible concerns to lead person or supervisor.
  • Washes all batteries on an ongoing schedule.
  • Removes and replaces battery connectors and contact tips.
  • Adds water to obtain specified concentration.
  • Attaches leads from charger to battery posts and starts charger.
  • Operates transfer cart to change batteries in and out of equipment.
  • Maintains proper rotation of batteries.
  • Makes minor repairs to battery cables.
  • Reports all problems and repairs to Battery Technician Lead or Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Safely cleans up electrolyte spills.
  • Keeps entire work area clean and free of debris.

Job Nature: Full-time

Educational Requirements: Diploma in  Mechanical/ Electrical.

Experience Requirements: 0 to 1 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements: Age 20-30 years (s).

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary Range: Negotiable
