Job Description: Technician (Battery Maintenance) Job Description / Responsibility Repairs and recharges batteries for all electric-operated warehouse equipment by performing the following duties. Maintain a safe working environment at all times. Report possible concerns to lead person or supervisor. Washes all batteries on an ongoing schedule. Removes and replaces battery connectors and contact tips. Adds water to obtain specified concentration. Attaches leads from charger to battery posts and starts charger. Operates transfer cart to change batteries in and out of equipment. Maintains proper rotation of batteries. Makes minor repairs to battery cables. Reports all problems and repairs to Battery Technician Lead or Maintenance Supervisor. Safely cleans up electrolyte spills. Keeps entire work area clean and free of debris. Job Nature: Full-time Educational Requirements: Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical. Experience Requirements: 0 to 1 year(s) Additional Job Requirements: Age 20-30 years (s).
