We are on the lookout for a Client Manager

We are expanding our network in Bangladesh and looking for a passionate, result driven Individual who loves to interact with people to support customers and ensure an excellent customer service experience.

The position is based in Bangladesh and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a challenging, dynamic environment and collaborate closely with our teams in New York, Oakland, San Francisco, Hamburg, Latin America, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Taiwan and Bangalore.

Responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Interact and manage strong client relationships within a network of various parties such as buyers, sellers, logistics service providers, liaison offices, etc.
  • Support customer registration activities such as system introductions and trainings
  • Support sales team activities where local interaction is required
  • Act as a point of escalation and assistance to local customers when our Service Hubs are unable to address issues or questions
  • Assist users to complete transactions on the GT Nexus platform, while understanding their specific buyer – seller relationship requirements
  • Initiate and conduct face-to-face client meetings/consultations
  • Administer training to clients on various functions/workflow within the system
  • Communicate with various departments within GT Nexus and our partners to ensure an integrated approach to a client relationship
  • Follow up on outstanding issues to ensure timely resolutions to ensure an excellent customer service experience

 Experience, qualifications and requirements;

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Marketing
  • 4-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
  • Familiarity with “software as a services” (SaaS) environments is desired
  • Project Management skills would be added advantage
  • Fluency in other languages will be desired i.e. Bengali, Urdu.
  • Strong client service experience and/or operations experience in international trade and/or supply chain management are necessary
  • Excellent communication, presentation and training skills
  • Detail oriented, a desire to solve problems and strong analytical skills are essential
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a time sensitive environment.
