A. Responsibilities

The position holder is responsible for:

  • Provide necessary support to the ‘National Helpline for Government Legal Aid -16430’ implemented by National Legal Aid Services Organisation (NLASO)
  • Assisting documentation, report preparation on call centre activities
  • Provide necessary support and feedback to ensure smooth operation and provide proactive legal assistance through advice
  • Beneficiary feedback/reaction and knowledge management

In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:

  1. Core scope of tasks
  • Maintain the National Helpline for Government Legal Aid -16430 service; give detailed advice on services available, process, take referrals and signpost to other agencies
  • Provide detail information by explaining how to obtain government provided legal aid
  • Counsel about other dispute resolution mechanism (RJ, mediation by UP members/chairman, ADR, etc.)
  • Complete relevant administrative task associated with the service, such as recording information of each call received, maintaining a high standard of concise but accurate information to monitor the service
  • Ensure that all callers receive an appropriate level of assessment to ensure they are referred to the right service, with the correct information to facilitate further assessment and service provision
  • Update job related knowledge through proactive learning
  • Provide any other support assigned by supervisor

Pool-2-Intern_Contracts and Procurement

A. Responsibilities

The position holder is responsible for:

  • Support Contract, Procurement and IT unit of GIZ Office Dhaka mainly in the areas of archiving and filing.
  • Support the Unit in other processes so that all activities are executed in an effective and timely manner.
  • Interact and communicate positively and productively within the organization

In this context, the position holder fulfils the following tasks:

B. Tasks

  • Filing hard copy of all contracts (Financial Agreement, Local Subsidy, Lease Agreement, Consulting firm, appraiser etc.) and other relevant documents in each contract folders according to GIZ filing system.
  • Scanning all the contracts and archive them in “B- Contracting” and DMS.
  • Collect paid invoice copy from Finance unit against contracts, place them in each contract folder and update Payment Status accordingly.
  • Scanning all the work order and archive them in “E-Materials & Equipment” and DMS.
  • Collect invoice copy from Finance unit against work order and place them in each procurement folder.
  • Ensure proper labelling of contract and procurement folders and develop a list of archiving folders location.
  • Update procurement and contract index record in common drive.
  • Assist in preparing reports / excel sheet on contract and procurement data when necessary.
  • Updating IT documentation as required.
  • Assist in organizing workshops if required.

C. Required qualifications, competences and experience

Academic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (Hon’s) in any discipline, preferably majoring in Finance and Accounting
