We offer the experience, the regional and technical know-how of GIZ in the global market and provide international clients with expertise in terms of economic and result-oriented services.
For the Adaptation of Climate Change into the National and Local Development Planning (ACCNLDP) project, GIZ requires the services of an individual consultant (Climate Change Vulnerability and Loss and Damage - Package C) for the development of the Sector Action Plan Environment and Climate Change (SAP ECC) following the precondition of the 7th Five Year Plan. GIZ is looking for an individual consultant which has extensive working experience in this field with the following competencies:
- At least 10 years of experience in relevant field. 05 year of experience in climate change vulnerability and loss and damage
- Proven experience in policy document preparation on climate change vulnerability and loss and damage will be required.
- Understanding the cross-sectoral relevance of loss and damage, vulnerability/risk and climate change and addressing it in a comprehensive way.
- Understanding and having an overview on the current initiatives on climate change vulnerability and loss and damage in Bangladesh.
- Understanding the roles and the rule of business of different stakeholders in the sector of Environment and Climate Change.
- Having a good understanding of 7th Five Year Plan and other climate change related policy documents of Bangladesh.

Interested consultant with relevant and proven experience shall submit their Technical and Financial offers in a separate sealed envelope describing rates and terms within 19th March, 2018 in to the reception desk of GIZ Office Dhaka, Simpletree Anarkali,Plot-3, Block-CWS(A) 89 Gulshan Avenue, Gulshan-2, Dhaka-1212.
