Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH provides services worldwide in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ has over 50 years of experience in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment, energy and the environment, and peace and security.
GIZ invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable Construction Firm to accomplish the construction work for the GIZ office Dhaka-ROL Building in Bangladesh. The minimum qualification of the Construction Firm to participate in the bidding process mentioned below:
- Have been operating as a Construction Firm for at least Eight (08) years;
- Have a current, valid Trade License registered as a Construction Firm;
- Having a First class Construction License.
- List of current client companies being serviced by the company
- Valid and up-to-date Tax Certificate
Note: Without above mentioned minimum criteria, bid will not be considered further.
Companies with above mentioned pre-requisite qualifications must provide relevant document in favour of the minimum criteria and also provide following document along with their Expression of Interest (EOI):
- Contractor Profile
- Experience of the Contractor
- Experience of each key personnel
- Financial Documents with yearly turn over
Terms of Reference (ToR) and Assessment Grid can be collected by email through
contract-bangladesh@giz.de with subject line “To accomplish the construction work for the GIZ office Dhaka-ROL Building in Bangladesh”.
- Localised construction of a door frame and support within an existing office.
- Partial demolition and extension of an existing four storey building, both internal and external to the building.
- Provide additional labour and support to visiting builders.
- Located at three sites in Gulshan 1 and Gulshan 2 Dhaka.
- Approx. timeframe. (beginning March/April 2018 – 2-3 months construction works)
The EOI along with cover letter, Technical and Financial Proposal shall be submitted by 05:00 PM / 17:00 hrs local time on/before 28th February, 2018 in separate sealed envelopes to Contracts, Procurement & IT Unit, GIZ Office Dhaka. The subject shall bear the mark “83281441- To accomplish the construction work for the GIZ office Dhaka-ROL Building in Bangladesh”. |
