Job Description / Responsibility

• Surveying fish stocks, ensuring the correct type and amount of fish are in the right places;
• Conducting annual surveys of rivers and sea;
• Monitoring scientific data; sampling biological specimens;
• Analyzing data and producing reports, writing reports;
• Supporting recreational angling;
• Communicating with and advising external bodies, e.g. angling clubs, councils and fisheries owners;
• Working with planning authorities to ensure new building developments do not have an adverse impact on river fisheries;
• Conducting environmental impact assessments;
• Keeping up to date with legislation and relevant scientific/technical developments.

Educational Requirements

• B.Sc (Honor’s)/ M.Sc in Food Engineering/ Food Technology/ Food Science.
• The applicant must have post graduation degree from Marine Fisheries academy.
• Preferable Institute: Marine Fisheries Academy, Chittagong University, Mymensingh Agricultural University & Foreign University.

Experience Requirements: 0-3 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements 

• Should be Knowledge in: Industrial Fish Processing, Packaging, Fish Fillet, PUD, Stack, Kebab, Finger, Nugget, Crispy, Stick, Ball, Ready to Cook, Smoke Fish and Organic Dry Fish & Storage Formula.

Salary Range: Negotiable
