  Position

Senior Programme Manager, Communications Department

Are you an advertising/marketing/media professional who wants to use your skills for good? Do you want to work with big brands, managing big budgets, teams and timelines, and also be working towards a better world? Here’s your chance.

The for-good world doesn’t get any bigger than BRAC. With over 100,000 employees, over 110 million clients and a universe of initiatives, brands and institutions in the BRAC family, no two days are the same. Every morning we wake up and look for new ways to make the world better. You’ll most likely never get this much autonomy, face this many challenges, or see the direct impact of your own work so closely.

We are looking for a senior programme manager with superb skills and prior experience in people management, can plan and manage projects and who will find a way to get anything done. Someone who is keen to get to learn about everything that BRAC does, and then help our staff to communicate more strategically about it, and harness the power of storytelling to change behaviour.

We want people who just more than a job. People who are looking for a passion. An adventure. People who are ready for crises, seemingly unsolvable problems and plenty of midnight deadlines, people who are team players and who never say ‘that’s not my job’.

Apply if you love people. If you take a diary, sticky notes and whiteboard markers everywhere you go. If you can organise just as well in a slum as in a boardroom. If you want to do something real about the state of the world. We’re 100% made in Bangladesh and we have been quietly working to change systems of inequity across the world for the last 45 years.
We offer a challenge, autonomy and the chance to work with globally renowned development experts. You will be able to see direct impact on the ground, and you will have plenty of time outside the office. In return, we need drive, commitment and flexibility.

We are willing to try applicants with diverse backgrounds - media, marketing, development, communications or advertising - we just ask that you are enthusiastic, ready to learn and dedicated. Get serious about changing the world. Get on the good side. Join the world’s biggest family.
