Senior Manager, Technology for Development (Contractual), Skills Development Programme (SDP)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of business intelligence platform across all SDP projects, provide domain expertise for data analytics direction and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure data sharing to gain behavioral insight on our clients and participants
  • Lead Shujog’s (Project) go to market strategy development, operation implementation and financial management so as to maintain the quality of field work in compliance with BRAC standards and AOP
  • Identify new business growth opportunities in the tech sector and lead the establishment of new tech enabled products, services and customer experiences
  • Lead the preparation of concept notes, legal agreements, budgets, TORs and other strategic documents
  • Develop team capacity both at HO and field level through intensive supervision, mentoring and training
  • Co-ordinate and maintain effective relationship with other BRAC programmes and partners to find areas of collaboration and partnership in the technology sector and also within SDP’s interventions using tech enabled solutions
  • Manage the unit’s financial performance and ensure the teams are on track to meet their goals
  • Ensure the unit’s learning are shared with the wider BRAC community

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in CSE or Bachelor’s in Economics from any recognised university/ institution with minimum 2nd division/ class or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd division/ class or below CGPA is acceptable

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years’ relevant professional experience in product, strategy and operations is required

  • Strategic Knowledge of data analysis, data interpretation and able to produce recommendations
  • Able to work independently with excellent organizational capabilities and problem solving skill
  • Able to work under tight time constraints, multitask with ease, and adjust plans in face of changing priorities
  • Able to build effective working relationships with internal functions and external bodies, and to work with a wide variety of people in successful partnership
  • Able to tackle challenges constructively, and find creative ways forward
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills and the ability to communicate at all levels in a complex environment
  • Proven experience in managing and growing a team
  • Strong writing and data presentation skills
